This website provided me a better understanding of what parents look for when choosing a child care centre for their child. Within in my research, I was able to read about profit vs.non profit child care centres and parents perspectives of those. At the same time, I was able to learn about starting your own profitable child care business, through articles on that topic I was able to understand the steps that profit child care centres and steps that non-profitable child care centres take in order to start an organization.

This article helped get a better understanding what services are offered at profit organizations and non-profit organization. It also help understand the difference between both types of organizations as well as how each run the business. I learned about all the services that affected with the fundings/grants provided by the government at a non-profitable organization.

This article helped me learn about the importance of field placement experience. It talked about shared experiences of other students that talked about their professional and personal growth that occurred through their field placement studies. I was able to relate myself to many of the skills and experiences that were enhanced through field placement studies.
