I believe the purposes of early learning and child care to provide children with an environment that they can feel they belong to. An early learning care setting that is developmentally appropriate for them to develop necessary skills before they can start school. To support working families who don’t have caregivers to take care of children at home. These early learning and child care provide the best environments to children that help them gain their most important early life skills that later on expand in life. Another purpose is to plan and implement activities that are based on child’s interest. Hire licensed staff is fully accountable and suit the role of Early Childhood Educators. Early learning and child care foster the well-being of those individuals under the care of EC professionals.

I believe a responsive environment is one that is where children can feel safe and protected from elements that are harmful to them. A responsive environment is one that is under supervision of licensed professionals. A responsive environment is one where young children can implement and support their own learning through play. A responsive environment is where all children can feel inclusive regardless of their needs, cultures, sexuality, background and social status. It is an environment that supports children with special needs through set up of the room, choice of materials. This type of environment provides children with opportunities in which they can explore experiment and learn and develop through their senses. Environments which children can be feel like they belong, that helps them learns about the world around them. Also an environment that is easy to complex, which challenges them to explore and expand which everything that is accessible to the children. A responsive environment is where children have opportunities to do hands-on activities and developmentally appropriate physical activities. An environment that is so diverse that anyone and everyone feel welcomed.

I believe my role with children and families is of a responsible early childhood educator. As that I am responsible for providing care and positive learning experiences to children. I model respect and patient with adults and children that I come in contact with. My role will as Early Childhood Educator is to be a facilitator and provide learning opportunities so that children can learn about their strengthens and work on their weaknesses. My role will be build healthy and positive relationships with children and families through communication skills and relationship building skills. My role is to work as teams with families to contribute to their children’s development.
