My research project was based on the project I was assigned on my first day at field placement. This project consisted of revising, editing, shorting and creating a general draft of the field placement manual students us at GH. This project is very important to GH, therefore my partner and I were given six weeks time to come with a more concrete/supportive manual. My research project was then a reflection piece of my experience while working on the manual. Areas that I focused on writing about was the importance/ value of a work place experience through field placement experience. I found a lot of research on this as work place experience is turning out to be more beneficial for students more than it has ever been before. It's becoming a global phenomenon; more and more countries are making a part of their educational curriculum. The importance of manual to ECS students and the administrative experience and its value for ECS students was another area of focus. I talked about the benefits of an administrative setting and many job opportunities are available to graduates within the setting.  Not only that, but as well as how field placement experience plays a big role in a student's professional and personal development.
