Blog 1- First day at Field Placement

My first day at an Institution's administrative setting went better than I expected. I was scared of what it might be like to work with professionals at higher positions. Walking into the first day, I wasn’t aware of my expectation or routines. I was aware that this placement wouldn’t be like the other experiences I have gained in the past. Working under the program head seemed like a nerve racking situation, however she made it easier for me to understand how things work around in administrative setting. I enjoyed being in an office looking at documents that as student of an institution wouldn’t have the opportunity to. It is an exciting opportunity, and definitely an experience of a lifetime. I could sense the skills I would gain here would help me in the future
