Blog 4: The Administrative Setting

Today’s task was unusual. I have used “Teaching strategies” from the first field placement setting I had at Humber College. Today I had to find recent literature that supported these teaching strategies. I had to create concrete examples that best reflected the strategies that would support students in better understanding them. I enjoyed doing this task because most of the examples I wrote down, I had personally experienced them at my field placements. Therefore this task became easier than anticipated. I used my research skills to find the documents the strategies originally came from. I was beginning to see myself fit in the research assistant’s position I was assigned.
