Blog 6: The Administrative Setting

Goals, deadlines, tasks, plans, meetings, presentations and feedback. All these are important when you’re working on a project that was going to represent an institution. Frightening right? That’s how I felt on my first day. Come day 6, it’s not so bad after all. It’s exciting to be a part of something this important. The course instructor and program head are very helpful and are always willing to guide you when you feel stuck. They role model their positions and represent them in the most professional way. I’d like to be that much presentable if I ever get hired in a position with that status. Watching them gives me the sense of how supportive one must be when working with students.
